Being a Christian is being a church, loving and taking care of one another, and coming together as a community. The Latino church at Mission Adelante strives every day to become a source of love and companionship. Jose Tellez is one of those friends who fill us with joy every Sunday when we see him and his family serving at church and worshiping God.

Here I share his feelings about his experience at Mission. Thank you Jose for everything you do!

My name is Jose Tellez and I am a member of the Mission Adelante church. I wanted to take the opportunity to open my heart and share briefly about my experience. In 2018, my great friend Augustin invited me to participate in the service on a Sunday night. I was looking for a fraternal place that was truly interested in helping others. From the first day, I really liked the group and the way the church received me.

Over time I joined the worship group where I have felt very blessed playing drums, bass, and singing. Mission Adelante is a place with wonderful people who serve others and above all, love God. This is the key to having a better community and being better human beings. Mission Adelante is my home!
