The Joy of Close Community

Living in a close community comforts our soul. It makes us feel accompanied and safe. We know that we can stumble, and if we fall, the people who love us will be there to support us. This is how I feel with the group of friends from our church. We are creating a community that encourages and pushes each other to continue growing in our Faith and in every aspect of our lives.
In the past month one of my friends from latino church, Claudia, encouraged us to start a women's group where we could hang out, share our struggles and victories, and study the Bible. And of course our delicious food :) That was how this new Women’s group started. Claudia is leading it and is doing a great job! We meet in different houses every week on Thursday. What a time to laugh and have fun!
This has been a special time for many reasons, but what I have enjoyed the most is seeing her leading our group with such confidence and wisdom. I have learned a lot from her - a young woman who fights with great strength and faith to see her family and church growing.
Thank you Claudia, Thank you Jesus!
