Backpack Blessings

One of the most exciting times of the year for the kids and youth of our community, is when they begin the school year. They anxiously await getting to know a new teacher, reconnecting with old friends, and starting the year off well.
One of the ways that we love to celebrate their success and encourage them to have a great year is by providing a new backpack filled with all the materials they might need! We rely on awesome donors to bless the kids with backpacks so that they can walk into that first day of school with the confidence of knowing they have everything they might need.
Although this school year will look different for the kids of our community, we were hopeful we would still be able to bless each participant of our summer programs with a backpack. Many individual donors stepped up as well as some key churches to provide exactly what was needed for the kids. We hope you enjoy the fun pictures below as a “thank you” to everyone that helped make this possible!
