Come and See nights
Thank you for your interest in coming to get a glimpse of what it's like to volunteer with us. Observation nights happen one week each trimester during programs on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Check out the dates for this trimester and then let us know when you’ll be coming.
KIDS
Arts Community: Monday, November 10th, 6:30pm-8:30pm
Adelante Arts Community is a vibrant space where kids explore their creativity through arts, music, crafts, and other hands-on classes. We’re currently looking for a guitar or keyboard player to join us in teaching instrument basics and inspiring the next generation of young musicians.
Kids Adelante: Thursday, November 13th, 6:30pm-8:30pm
Kids Adelante provides welcoming ESL classes and literacy support designed for newcomer children and those who need extra help building their English skills. Through fun games and activities, kids develop a strong foundation in English.
YOUTH
Youth Club: Wednesday, November 12th, 6:30pm-8:30pm
Adelante Youth Club offers a dynamic space for teens to connect through games, activities, and Bible study. It’s a place where young people can build friendships, have fun, and grow spiritually in a supportive community.
ADULTS
Refugee ESL Classes: Monday, November 10th, 6:30pm-8:30pm
Designed for non-Spanish-speaking refugees, our Refugee ESL classes teach practical English skills to help students thrive in their new communities.
Citizenship Class: Tuesday, November 11th, 6:30pm-8:30pm
Our citizenship program guides students through civics education and offers support to prepare for the citizenship interview and exam.
Latino ESL Classes: Thursday, November 13th, 6:30pm-8:30pm
Latino ESL classes help Spanish speakers develop essential English skills in a welcoming and encouraging environment. Through practical lessons and interactive activities, students gain confidence to communicate effectively in everyday situations.
